Finally the City of Long Beach had the first Boat Auction of 2024 on June 29th. This time I do it slightly different by showing more of the auction, we learn some new information about TAX LIENS and I show the Kayak, SUP and Dighy portion of the auction. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for including everything in the vid…. Gives an armchair shopper an idea of what floaty things are really worth (which is quite encouraging)

52:00 that was my old dinghy 😂 the Marina took it from us bc we were using the dock rack but didn’t pay the monthly fee, so they snaked it from us. Good to know the homie got it for $65 💸

I'm an Aussie and those sail boat prices are mind blowing, Catalina couldn't get $400 is unbelievable. Some Americans don't seem to realize their country is great on a myriad levels, you are lucky to be American.

Hi I wish you would do like a show with all the California Auctions San Francisco and all the auctions up and down the coast

Great to see you guys again. My feed was not showing you guys for like 6 months and then you showed up today. Great as I keep thinking about an auction boat. Thanks!

Never pay for a boat or vehicle if they don't have a clean title for it.

So what if you bought a boat with leans on it and sailed off in to the sunset, like took it to a different country?

I've been canoeing for over 40 years and $10 dollars for each canoe was insane! That first Old Town sells new for around $1, 500. I bought mine around 1990 for $800 and sold it in 2010 for $900. Both of those canoes had the seats with cane inserts, which tend to deteriorate quickly. Mine had the nylon web lacing that was still in good shape when I sold it. Of course this auction was down on the coast where everyone prefers kayaks over canoes. Anywhere inland and those canoes would've brought around $300 to $500 each at auction and even more on Craigslist!

At this auction, if you win the bid of 5K and the boat has a 10K lien, does it mean you have to pay 15K? (of course + auction fees)

So the Carver sold for 31K, is the 13K lien extra? 44K total?
