My grandmother just finished her Radium treatment for lung cancer last week. They say the tumor hasn't spread and are fairly happy. All we can do is hope though

I had all these symptoms and was diagnosed with asthma for years. Finally, I went to a lung specialist and insisted it was more serious as i kept getting serious chest infections and my chest sounded so bad as it has a death rattle sound. At last a specialist recognised it was more serious than asthma and an excellent surgeon did an operation to remove a tumour which was blocking one of the bronchi. Watching this video explains clearly what happened to me. Take care that you are given the correct diagnosis. For 10 years i was considered having asthma when i had a tumour making me feel like I couldn't breathe. Thanks for posting this video. Hopefully, it will save lives.

My husband died with lung cancer in 1996. He lived approximately seven months after diagnosis. He smoked cigarettes most of his life, he even smoked the day before he died. Was very difficult watching him die for seven months.

My mother smoked for over 50 years and got just about everything you can get from cigarettes...except lung cancer! Don't know how she missed that one, but the other smoking related illnesses eventually killed her in 2003. The anniversary of her death is coming up in June. It was only in the last ten years of her life that she stopped smoking. I never smoked, but spent most of my life exposed to second hand smoke from her. I try very hard not to dwell on the fact that this has put me in a high risk category, but my brush with uterine cancer doesn't help ease my worries much. The only good thing that came of it was that, although a very bad type of cancer, my docs caught it early, so after a complete hysterectomy in late 2005, followed by 3 radiation treatments, I have not had any cancer symptoms since then. It's been almost 20 years since the surgery. They say if you survive the first 5 years after completing treatment, without a recurrence, then you are considered to be cured. That's great regarding my uterine cancer, but I still worry about my lungs. I guess that will always be with me.

Please people, if you don't smoke, don't start. If you do smoke, give it up. The smoker isn't the only one at risk. Everyone around them gets exposed to the toxic waste products in every puff.

When I quit smoking by week 4 I would wake up out of a deep sleep and just would cough up snot for about a month. Then no problems since then. I have not smoked for 3 years or 4 it's hard to remember.

according to louise Hay, author and healer, lung issues represent sadness within the individual. she wrote the book "you can heal your life" and has audiobooks re. Cancer. I think she gets it originally from chinese medicine.. there is a list of physical symptoms in the body and the related emotional issue(s). It might be worth relating it to your own experience. so many of our physical issues relate to suppressed emotions, emotions we're not aware of. Health is lifelong business that I feel is closely linked to our philosophy on practice...easy to talk about!!! N.L.P is very good for dealing with unwanted addictions eg smoking.

It is now 3 days since my mom have been diagnosed with lung cancer, on a advanced stage. She got all symptoms as indicated on the video. She already started yesterday with radiation, we are still in shock. It is as if I am dreaming, and cannot wait to snap out of this horrible dream, unfortunately it is real😭😭😭

Smokers are naive about this ever happening. Me myself I am, but recently I’ve been feeling the slow creep up of smoking affecting me. I’m not a “professional smoker”, I call myself a “phase smoker” I’ll quit for a few months then go back on them, recently though I’ve been wheezing a bit. I’ll then stop completely for a bit then probably start again. I’ve done it the same since I was 18 or so
When I do stop I always think “yep this is the time” Then I get bored of quitting
I know there’s absolutely nothing good about it, on the flip side I think if I fancy it I’ll do it, life’s too short kind of thing
