Evolutionary biology is one of the things that I get annoyed at a lot of sciencey channels for skimming over, but the format you're using of "one structure alluded to with a very direct title, then explanation of title, then explanation of process including visual representation" is working so well.

you should talk about how the clavicle was actually a part of the fish skull until it moved away and supported the front limbs in tetrapods

So most of my jaw is missing, my eyes are inside-out, my head is turned backwards, but at least my knees are fine...

Damn, can't believe my cousin knows so much, must be genetics!

The evolution of the ear bones is one of the coolest processes I’ve ever studied during my biology class

I love your method of science education, gives me nostalgia to old YouTube vibes and covers things that most people would never even think about in a quick, easy to understand package. Thank you for your interest in science and your desire to share it with others!!!

oh damn I'm actually your first channel member? I didn't think I would get a shoutout at the end
I just really love your videos

I've been studying anatomy for my art recently so I'm way more interested in how the body works right now

related fun fact: the jaw and ears are very closely linked in the brain and nervous system. you may be able to clench your jaw and hear ringing in your ears, especially if you have tinnitus

Honestly I'm really glad that our jaw bones became our ear bones. Without them music wouldn't be as good, if we even evolved music in the first place.

I don't learn new things super often, even with all the channels I'm subbed to. This showed up randomly and I learned new things almost the whole time, so I'm subbing. <3
