I don't mind taxation. I just mind what we get in return. We don't even have universal healthcare and tuition free universities..meanwhile I'm giving almost 40% of my income to the federal government and the state of New York.

I'm a business owner in British Columbia. Year by year we slid into what is now - businesses pay ALL medical. Add that info to this quote from Statistics Canada - the average business owner earns less than the average Canadian.

The second you said “some would like to turn the US into Venezuela” we had the exact same person in mind, and I don’t keep up with her or her party almost at all. That says a LOT. also, it says a lot how much support these people get from naive and sheltered young Americans.
