Russian president Vladimir Putin has announced a plan to reroute more natural gas to Asian countries to counter Western sanctions. This as European Union, which is heavily relied on Russian gas supply, agreed on a 9th sanctions package. Led by the U.S, the Europe is trying to punish Russia with sanctions to limit Kremlin's 'war chest' amid war in Ukraine. Watch the video for more.

Please remember that Russia never cut gas and oil supplies to the EU. The sanctions packages and the US arranging for the Nord Stream pipelines to be blown up did that. Russia is not rerouting energy to "punish" the west. Russia is simply moving the supply to customers who want and are willing to buy the energy. Do not complain about having no oil when you made it impossible to buy it.
