I have a launchkey 49 (which has full midi port) and when I connected it up it didn’t by default work. I had to change the midi to channel 1 on the Novation.

Maybe it's specifically an issue with the Volca Sample, but I can't see any way to control the tempo through my Launchkey Mini Mk3.

I've set the VSample to "external clock" but it seems that the tempo knob on the Launchkey isn't doing anything. I know about Custom Modes, but as far as I understand it, there is no CC for the Tempo knob on the Sample, so I'm stuck.

Any help?

Which DAW do you use? Because I use the same stuff but I cannot play the volca sound, only the digital synthesizer on garageband. My setup is that midi keyboard connected to my laptop, the volca keys connected to that, a reverb pedal to the korg and a audio driver, the output are 2 krk studio monitor. Can someone help me? Great video! I’m a drummer who’s new to electronic music. I’ve got a Volca Sample and was wondering if I can do this with a Launchkey 25? It’s only got USB for a connection. It doesn’t have the 1/8” TRS like the Launchkey Mini does. I do have a Scarlett 4i4 that has a midi in/out if that can help connect it somehow. I’m thinking it probably has to use a DAW and can’t do it standalone like you do in your video. Any help would be much appreciated.
