It's so wonderfully clear. When I first got exposed to the teachings of Calvinism, it bugged my mind to no end. Now I just say, oh well. I love the brothers and sisters. But the truth is so much better and simpler than Calvinism. (I learn from Calvinist teachers too, just not on that subject 🙏🏽). I pray more eyes will be opened to the truth of God's word. No fear. Just truth.

Even non Christians can see the illogical conclusions behind Calvinism. This should be a red flag for every Calvinist.

I reject Calvinism because I cannot uphold a system of belief which places the responsibility of Sin on God's shoulders. If God is as deterministically sovereign as Calvinism claims, then Adam could not have sinned without God's command for him to do so. Furthermore, if God predestines who will be saved, he is by default determining who will not be saved. This is a direct contradiction to what Jesus teaches in John 3. I maintain that Calvinism not only misinterprets Sovereignty and Predestination, but is guilty of mishandling Scripture as well in order to prove their point.

Piper taught her well how to use too many words to dodge the question. Too bad Ben didn't confront John MacArthur about this when he had him on his show...

I agree with Ben. He's pointing out the simple contradictions and glaring logical problems with Calvinism. When you have to tie yourself in knots to not be a villain, there's no reason to embrace such a dark philosophy. It's disposable and you'll be a better Christian if you abandon it, in my opinion.

Calvinism is like saying it’s a circle—but it’s s square —-at the same time 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

And if you don’t accept it, YOU are the problem!!! 😳🤷🏻‍♀️

How do we have “free will” to sin, but not “free will” to “not sin” or to “accept” Christ

I’m not a Calvinist because I wasn’t PREDESTINED to be one! Ba-dum-tsk! I’ll be here all night.

Calvinists love to conflate God’s intentional allowance of human activity with God saying “Whoops! Didn’t see that coming.”

Intentionally allowing a freely chosen action, knowing the outcome of that action, and foreordaining to use that outcome for our redemption and His glory are not equivalent to God saying “Whoops!”

I wish we could have Dr Flowers on Bens Sunday special.

I won't be too critical because I don't remember how they got there in the discussion. But imagine getting that platform to say something about the gospel and you end up using it to defend/preach Calvinism.

As a teenager I was being taught Calvinism and was confused. It didn't make sense because I finally figured out that it's heresy.

It’s not a paradox, it’s pure stupidity.

I actually talked to Mrs. Stuckey, shortly after she made a response video to the dead adults and children who weren't even in their graves yet, who had been murdered at the Christian school. She kept saying things like, "we don't know why God allowed this to happen...

God wasn't caught off guard". She just kept getting worse and worse and had no counsel for anybody. She was so careless and mechanical. She told me litarilly, to "stop, nobody did anything". This was in response to me telling her, "we need Jesus Christ and not John Calvin".

After that I just couldn't watch anything she did. She couldnt even blush for what she was saying in such a careless and synthetics manner.

The key word here is absolutely. If God absolutely determined every single thing, there is NO room for the will of any other being. It can not be both ways. It is impossible for God to absolutely determine your every action then also say you were responsible for taking those actions. Calvinism is a doctrine of man that impugnes God's character

Stuckey sounds like someone who doesnt really understand her Calvinism and what Calvinism implies. She is just parroting what she has been taught. She hasn't really thought it through

I have studied the Bible for years but in my studies I have always *intentionally* avoided the soteriology discussion figuring “just share the Gospel, and how it works is how it works.”

However in the last 3 weeks I have found the topics of “Calvinism”, “Once saved always saved vs lose salvation, ” and “Sola Fida vs Lordship Salvation” and “who is REALLY saved” coming up A LOT in the last few weeks and so I figured “aright, I guess in this season this is currently the current thing. Time to sharpen up.”

So here I am🤷‍♂️

Allie has never answer the question She's only dodge Saphiro's question. Calvinism manages to make impossible to be nullified is just almost unfalsifiable.

What saddens me is that Shapiro probably thinks Calvinism = Christianity.
