Grateful my dad and I never had to settle our shit like this. We only got in a physical altercation once, over the way he talked to my mom after she and I were in a car accident. I walked out before things escalated to real violence. He ended up calling and apologizing. He's a good man.

This skit is actually v powerful. Seems like OP and a lot of people commenting are processing some real trauma through this. All I can say is I'm proud of y'all for facing your stuff. The only way we'll ever heal & grow is by breaking that cycle of mistreatment and becoming better men than our fathers. Godspeed to all y'all.
