My husband and I have been to The Keys a half a dozen times. We love it but couldn’t afford to live there. Lately we’ve been going to the Destin/FWB area with our family. We also love it there. BEAUTIFUL beaches. My husband (and I) love to fish so we’re keeping our eye out for an affordable area that has great fishing.

Been to Orlando 4 times since 2017 and it’s worth buying a house there even though I rather rent. Most houses in Lake Nona, where I stayed, starts at $300, 000 and it goes up from there. Very quiet area and peaceful. The theme parks are great for families and everyone is very friendly. You do get discounts to the theme parks if you’re a Orlando resident.

You definitely need to visit these other areas, when you are able to. They are all beautiful! You will really enjoy their beautiful beaches!

I agree #1 is panhandle. I live about 5 hours from there and go there all the time. Especially Destin, Fort Walton beach area and even panama city beach too. the beaches are beautiful and clear. So, I can see why many people vacation there. Its not as big as Miami or Orlando but it is beautiful.

Exploring Pompano Beach all week with a couple friends. Just need to find a shop with the right location/price and I will be making moves to make this happen! Headed down to Largo to dive today

Sarasota seems great but we are looking at Cape Coral because our budget is lower that what we want ;)

Good morning Michael. Good informative video. You MUST go to Siesta Key! This beach is beautiful. The sand is like icing sugar or flour and so white. Just avoid the times of the red tide, though.

I've visited all ten places on your list and have lived in 4 of them. Still trying to decide on a permanent FL retirement location in a few years. I may spend a couple of months touring the entire state.

Interesting list. Although I haven't been to the Panhandle, I've visited and/or stayed in all these areas. It would interesting to know the average house and/or condo prices in each of these ten areas along with rental opportunities to make some extra cash to help pay the mortgage until one is ready to fully retire to Florida (if that's the plan).

Bought a house in Melbourne, moving in a few months. That whole space coast stretch from Cocoa beach down to Melbourne beach is very nice! It’s picked back up with Space X and NASA and seems to be thriving! Daytona beach is touristy, and rough surrounding it. Anna Maria Island/Bradenton beach is amazing. If you can afford it, I bet that’s going to end up being one of Florida’s gems Siesta Key is just south of the Anna Maria Island area!

Where do you need to go to get Real estate licence and how that job works can you please make a video of it? (how do you know what house will you sell, how do you make money of it, and many more)

I don't know that the panhandle is cooler than Miami Beach. It can get quite hot up in there, and they are more likely to get heat wave type weather. As for the Winter, they are much cooler and can even get downright cold.

I’am looking for a cottage as a second home somewhere in the hundred thousand area it doesn’t have to be on the water. But within walking distance I would rather be close to restaurants and shopping for the wife since I’am a golfer .
