Orlando doesn't have beaches. They don't hear "waves crashing on the beach." Do a little more research or just look at a map, genius.

Tampa is DEFINETLY not one of the worst places to live in Florida, and the drive to Clearwater and Sarasota isnt that bad, 40 mins is nothing to see some of the most beautiful beaches in the State. And even for a big city its WAAAY safer than Orlando, Miami, Jacksonville etc. and theres lots of cultural diversity and plenty to do. Its still kind of underrated. Theres nothing specific about Tampa that would make it a horrible city other than weather and traffic during tourist season.

Orlando is in the middle of the state not on the coast

Based on you thinking we're going to hear ocean waves in Orlando I'm pretty sure you didn't do any research and can't believe anything you've said about any of these locations. Anyone can look at a map and see Orlando is not near the ocean. You're going to have to drive 1.5 hrs to get to the nearest beach 🙄

Me and my husband vacay'd in Ft Walton Beach in 2010 and it was beautiful! We obviously didn't go to the beach you mentioned so we saw NOTHING like that. It's really a very touristy city too.

You should have included Cocoa Beach. The pier is for drunks only no fishing. No nice beach walking area. Cruise Ships? People stay in Orlando then come here when its time to board. The ocean water is like chicken soup. Perfect for all the sharks!

Without even watching the video and as former decades long Tampa Bay Area resident, Miami and the entire southeastern part of the state is absolutely horrible. Orlando is just as bad.

Edit: After watching the video, it is incorrect. The narrator says “stepping out your door to beach access…”. Orlando is landlocked in the middle of the state. Also, Tampa has direct water access and closer to St Pete and Clearwater.
