I have never commented on a YouTube video but today I was searching why I was so sleepy and fatigued after having a migraine and basically this video blew me away, I never knew why I felt these symptoms described in the video, this was a very emotional experience to know that I’m not alone and that I understand “better” what I’m going through, I ignored this for a long time, thank you so very much for this introductory video this truly made my day.

I feel exposed and also relieved to find such a precise explanation of what I feel each time. This helped me bring all the symptoms together, and have some sense of the process. Thank you so much!

Holy crap, I was just describing what I feel like before, during and after a migraine to a friend and it went exactly like this, just without the science-y words...

As an OTR trucker suffering from these is brutal. I've been doing more research and glad I found your video. I don't get them often but when I do, like right now, they completely debilitate me for 24-36 hours.

Can't wait to go to a doctor with a better understanding so I can explain to them what each step is for me or what I think it is and hopefully that'll give them a better picture on how to help treat or prevent them.

That was the most thorough description of migraines I’ve every seen. I’ve suffered for 15yrs with them, until a guy suggested I take B3, since then I’ve not had one. When I get the aura I take 500gms and the aura goes and it’s over. I have used this for 35yrs.
Before I knew about B3 I took the medications prescribed but they did not stop the migraines maybe they lessened the pain, but I’d still have to stay in bed for the day.
My heart goes out to all who suffer migraine. I travel every where with my B3 now as being out and starting to get an aura I know if I don’t get that B3 I’m going to be very sick.

Wow I had a really bad migraine at school and I told them they said “if you run it goes away” 😐 it was extremely hot and we were wearing black uniforms. I threw up 3 times after that

I use lemon and ginger tea to rid headaches - works every time for me! (I use 2 teabags in hot water and leave for 5 minutes before drinking) :)

Then, I definitely have migraines. Before one, I get massive sugar cravings. I do feel unusually cold. Sometimes, my vision will look like the static on an analog TV screen. I will definitely have restlessness and tinnitus. I will have slurred speech and my face will go numb.

The headache itself is not even close to being the thing that i'm scared of. I'm afraid of the blinding visual aura, the way half your body becomes stunned, and the vomitting.

It's all a very accurate information.

For me migraines almost always end with vomiting, it almost seems like a phase of it to me, always has been, I get aura, then my head aches for 4-24 hours before I barf and it seems to make it go away faster than anything else. Never tried to force it though and I doubt it would work to simply put two fingers in the mouth when aura hits.
