I used to have migraines and peripheral neuropathy from B12 deficiency. It got to the point where i was having migraines or 5 times a month. I found out that my B12 level had been at the low end of normal for over 2 years, so I started taking sublingual B12. After a month or so, I stopped having them. I talked to a biochemist at the college I went to, and it was her opinion that I had been B12 deficient regardless of the blood test results. I started getting B12 injections. It took over a year for the peripheral neuropathy to stop bothering me.

Histamine can be a huge influence on migraine. Many healthy foods are high in histamine. (ex: fish, avocado, citrus). Exercise releases histamine. Stress releases histamine. Hormones affect histamine. NSAIDs block degradation of histamine so if pain relievers don’t work for your migraine this may be why! Once I researched my symptoms and made the connection to histamine I have reduced the number of migraines I get tremendously. I happen to have a genetic predisposition (I do not produce much of the enzyme that breaks down histamine) but a supplement of this enzyme (diamine oxidase) taken before high histamine meals has been a miracle. Hope this helps some of you fellow migraine sufferers!

I have Status Migrainosis. A constant migraine that never stops. I've been suffering from it for 6 months now. Started up about 2 weeks after I had brain surgery. Doctors have put me on so many medications. Triptans, beta blockers, even opioids. Got on medical marijuana last month, and it is helping a lot to control the pain.

👍🏻 Lucky people who have never had a migraine don’t understand how debilitating the condition is. “Just take some Motrin!” If one has chronic migraines (as I did for 30+ years of my life) it is an invisible disability. There is no normal functioning to be had. There are new miracle drugs to help mitigate that disfunction, but they didn’t exist for most of my life. My ultimate cure was menopause, my long suffering is over thanks to being off the estrogen roller coaster.

Great video as always. I think you need to switch up your boxes for OTC medicine for migraine and tension. I suffered for my entire adult life until after menopause. A huge weight was lifted then.

You are one of the best creators for medical issues - your videos get right down to the issues and explain them clearly.

Hi. I get Hemiplegic Migraines (and regular migraines) at least a few times month, depending on my stress levels. It's hereditary. I've had migraines since I was 5 years old. Just wanted to comment that since taking Mounjaro over 2 months ago, I haven't had a migraine.

Migraines sound so awful. :( I hope this information can alleviate a sufferer's pain or at least reduce the frequency of migraine HAs.

Had Debilitating vestibular migraines couple of years ago. I was advised to consider whether a specific daily food intake was the trigger. I eliminated caffeine and within two days the migraines stopped.

A migraine is a headache that can cause severe throbbing pain or a pulsing sensation, usually on one side of the head. It's often accompanied by nausea, vomiting, and extreme sensitivity to light and sound

During an eye exam, I told the man administering it that I couldn't do the peripheral because all I could see was an arc of pixilated fractals. He said I had a migraine, but there wasn't any heavy pounding or throbbing, just the bright lights in zigzags forming an almost complete circle. Is that really a migraine or should I see a doctor about something else? It was temporarily blinding.
