Learn how to make guacamole with our simple and spicy guacamole recipe! This tasty appetizer is fresh, crunchy and satisfying. It is great to eat on corn chips, or spread over toast for a tasty breakfast. We love using fresh peppers from our harvest for this recipe.

This guacamole is a great Cinco De Mayo recipe, or for any time of the year really! It is a delicious appetizer or snack to enjoy fresh for up to 2-3 days when refrigerated.

Recipe:
2 ripe avocados
1/2 large white or yellow onion (diced)
1/2 large tomato
1-2 peppers (jalapeno or serrano)
1 large lime juiced (approx 1 ounce)
1-2 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
1 tsp fresh cilantro
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp sea salt

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, add avocado last, and mash together. Enjoy!

Just a little tip. Add the tomato AFTER mashing. Mashing the tomato into the guac makes it turn greyish brown. Not the prettiest thing in the world. It doesn't affect the flavour at all though. So do what you like best 😋

Nice job on the video! Guacomole can handle a lot of heat so extra peppers are always good. BTW, where did you get that cool shirt? I'm not a huge fan of yellow, but would like to find one of those in blue, gray, or red?

This is a weird request but can you do a video on making hot sauce from Salsa leftovers? Recently I made a habanero and yellow pepper salsa. The tomatoes were EXTRA juicy so I had probably 2 cups of leftover juice. I did some research (which is how I found your channel) and did a low boil and added some apple vinegar... seems to have worked?
