Guacamole has onions, tomatoes, Chile, salt, pepper and lime. Every home and party in south Texas is going to have those ingredients in the guacamole

All these comments dont really understand that authentic doesnt mean how it should be made, authentic means how someone is taught to make it (most of the time connected to a area), just like so many other dishes, naan bread is AUTHENTIC bread for Indians, but a brioche is a AUTHENTIC bread for the french, even though they are 2 completly different things, most of yall probably only eat guac from takeaway taco bell or whatever
