Don't cancel Cap 1 cards if you ever want to get another; Cap 1 holds grudges. They'd cancelled a card of mine several years ago due to their own (multiple) errors, and now refuse to issue new cards despite my quite good credit score. They are dead to me now.

I have to quicksilver one card I had for about a yr in June so far only one credit line increase for not very much smh. I was thinking about canceling it once it's paid off. Plus I don't have any upgrade options or insensitive 😕 and my credit is alot higher now 🤷‍♂️ but I'm getting repeated offers from other respected banks but not cpt 1 smh

I started my credit journey with a $300 limit capone platinum and a capone quicksilver one card same limit and a 480 credit score. After 1.5 years of responsible use paying no interest and no other fees capone upgraded my platinum to quicksilver rewards. In addition to that they upped my limit. But even better I have 2 other cards from other companies with multi thousand limits. How'd I get there? My score I'd now 722 and responsible use of my ccs

I currently have 2 Quicksilver cards that was upgraded about a year ago from the platinum cards. Although they’re Quicksilver, I’m sure I’m bucketed in their low credit line pool. Both cards are only $600 cl’s. Lowest by far compared to any credit cards I have with other banks. Renting a vehicle in their travel portal would definitely have me surpass a credit utilization% that I’m not comfortable with.
