I have 14 credit cards and out of all my credit cards the highest Credit Limit are from credit unions the limits are round 20-40k

I know CapOne has a rough track record but I haven't had any issues with them. Even as I get better cards, I still use my Quicksilver for small purchases.

They denied my credit limit increase because I don’t spend enough on the card I only spend $10 a month.

My capital one didn’t give me a credit increase for years and the card was a $750 limit. The last time I asked for one I had just paid it down to zero and they denied me. A month later they added $3, 000 to it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

But it’s a free yearly credit card why close it? As long as you make one purchase within two years the card stays active.

Don’t they automatically increase your limit every 6mos or so if your history is good?

Hey I need some help with this one so I’m new to all this credit card stuff so I was on credit karma and since I have a good score it offered me some card to get me started with credit i checked out the silver cash back card or what ever it’s called like if I get it how much money would it be there so I can use ? Do I have to have a bank in order for me to use the card?
