I personally would not upgrade, but go for the Capital One Venture X on its own. The sign up bonus is huge.
Your approach, to that specifically, may be better for a person with a pretty good, but not high credit score.

CapOne increased my CL by $3, 500 last month, raising it from $10K to $13.5K. I’m okay with this increase but will ask for another next month. I’ve spent nearly $5K since the increase with a little over $500 as a balance which I’m about to payoff now! So I’m anxious to see whether they’ll give me another CL so soon. 🤔💭
