The b12 - potassium antagonist relationship happens when you take b12 or potassium supplements in isolation.
It does not happen when you combine b12 with folate, & b6 on one hand or combine potassium with magnesium & b6 on the other hand. Here b6 refers to active b6 - p5p.

However, generally, it's a good idea to have both potassium & b12 at separate times.

B12 requires B6 for absorption & folate for utilization, while potassium requires b6, vit C & magnesium for optimal uptake & utilization.

I have been hospitalized multiple times for hypokalemia and never once did a doctor consider my b12 shots for my pernicious anemia could have been the cause. NOT ONE TIME 😳!! I was accused of taking water pills and being bulimia though.
Now that I know, I will be sure to increase my potassium intake. What is going on with doctors these days? I have no faith in our health care system.

Good to know. Since I have B12 deficiency symptoms and problems with gut / digestion I started to take B12. Meanwhile I became more tired and crampy - no energy and muscle strength at all.... this really makes sense now...

Wow I didn't know that, great video. I have been supplementing with B12 for years and for the past 7 months started feelign so fatigued, thirsty and trouble sleeping. I started using Cronometer to track my diet and it showed low potassium and high sodium. Drinking lots of coconut water and eating fruits and veggies.
