2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger First Look | Capital One Auto Navigator

Ram is adding to its line of electrically powered full-size pickups with a new model called the 1500 Ramcharger. Unlike the previously announced battery-powered Ram REV, the Ramcharger uses a clever solution to alleviate range anxiety, combining a pure-electric drivetrain with an onboard gas generator.

What happens if the battery is dead but there's plenty of gas? Can you drive it since the gas engine isn't connected to the wheels?
