If you've ever flashed Samsung firmware files to your smartphone or tablet then you know you need to figure out the CSC Region Code of your specific device so you know which one to download.

It doesn't matter if you use SamMobile, Updato, SamFirm, or any other firmware repository. You need to know your region code and the model number of your device.

Question. I have the S20 (SM-G981W and my CSC is XAC) and I want to try flashing the Korean firmware (CSC is KOO) which is SM-G981N because I *think* that eSIM is not blocked on that firmware. Do you think it would work because they are both for Snapdragon (not Exynos)? I have a non-working SIM card reader slot (won't read my SIM card) and I'm afraid of soldering a new one because the CPU is on the other side, and it's expensive ($120 + 15% HST) to pay someone to do it.

Hello, i have XAA as CSC in my Note 10+ but I want to change to other CSC, could you recommend me the best option for me? what I want is to update my OS, but in order to do it, I must flashed my phone, but for me it is more complicated doing it like that. I saw a few tutorials on how to change your CSC with Google Dialer, and I want to try it. My options that are not the ones with "/single" are: BST, SPR, TMB, VMU and XAS. I hope you can help me :)

I have a s20 ultra from united states is a U model but the Csc is XAA/XAA/XAA is related to unknown in sammobile but since i know that U model comes from specific USA network services provider such as: ATT, tmobile, sprint verizon etc. So im confused by this XXA csc code! so we have had a fingerprint problem in android 11 in the Galaxy A series. i have an A70 so was planning to downgrade to 10 'cause a friend of mine has one that works well on android 10 but having a problem with firmwares to download. like can i download a firmware from any region it won't affect my phone?

Using the second method after "OXM" there is SEB. Using the 3rd method the carrier ID is "NEE". Typing either of this on the samfw site results in "unknown". What can I do?
