Thanks for this. Had the same issue as others; had to keep searching the app because I could never find the tile on the homepage. Seems like Samsung does a really piss poor job of making it easy to set them to the Home Screen.

NEW SAMSUNG TVs:
1. Click “apps” in the menu
2. Once you are in “apps”, navigate to the top right and hit “settings”

Basically go to your settings while IN your apps menu. That will let you edit all installed apps, including adding them to your Home Screen

Doesn't work on latest Samsung TV. The main app view starts with a lot of standard ones. If I try to add HBO Max, it only appears in the 'App' menu. Nothing with the new remote of any menu setting allows me to add it to the main page. In fact, when I turn the TV off and back on again HBO Max is not even in the 'App' menu and I have to search again, even though it was already installed.

Does the app have to already be in the lineup for example like to add the app call Pluto onto my home screen how do I do that? If it’s not in the lineup already of apps thank you
