Most doctors that take insurance are not well educated on proper HRT. Standard doctors generally do not prescribe HRT correctly and often give some nonbioidentical hormones like levonogestrel or MPA along with estrogen. Hormone clinics generally do a much better job with HRT but they dont take medicaid or insurance.

Also many men and women even in their 20's or 30's may need HRT which really should be called HoT or hormone optimization therapy

Im a man who is 56 and I had to go to a hormone clinic after my standard doctors pulled my prescription which nearly killed me and made me wish I was dead.

I take 6 hormones...Pregnenalone, Progesterone, DHEA, testosterone, nandrolone and vitamin D3 ( yes vit D3 is a hormone....just not an endocrine hormone)

I took it and got ovarian cancer. No risk factors, Started at 48. Cancer at 51.

Now brand non GMO soy isoflavones, Red clover, evening primrose oil, now brand natural progesterone cream. Blessings 💞
