Charger head health reduced.
Recoiless Rocket and EAT-17 can one-shot chargers if you hit the head.
Easier to kill with arc thrower if focusing on head.
Head might be better target over the legs now for other weapons as well.

- Railgun Nerfed
No longer able to pierce charger armor in safe mode.
Needs ~2-4 hits in unsafe mode.

+ Flamethrower Buffed
Focus on a leg and chargers fall fast.

DUDE! Thank you. I main a flamethrower on high difficulty and had no idea that your could specifically target the leg. I was just letting teammates or stratagems take them out. Now I can cook these lobsters to.

With the bubble shield, either throw impact grenades or shoot a grenade launcher in the path of their charge, and they will run over it as it detonates. It can lead to massive damage and can kill them in as little as one or two grenades.

If you're using eats it's handy too through the stratagem directly onto the side of the charger. You might just kill the thing with the strategym itself. And it's pure joy.

I use Chargers as lightning rods for the Arc Thrower for cleaning up the smaller ants in the area. By the time I'm done with the ads, the Chargers are so low health from all the electrocution that they go down on a few extra hits. The Arc Thrower has become one of my favorites. Similarly with Bile Titans, but I shoot the bile sacs from their belly to stop them from spitting.

A Rocket/Auto Cannon Turret on an elevated rock works well.

So the "chance for (the bullets) to get through the armour" when shooting the back of the chargers leg, isnt a random chance, but there is a small green ball joint connecting the chargers leg to the giant armoured piece. If you aim there your bullets will connect with red hit markers indicating a weakpoint. There also seems to be a bit of light armour that with sistained fire you can damge and shoot through, but im not sure on those mechanics, but as i shoot its leg, it becomes easier to hit the weakpoint

Weird that their back isn't the main weak point. These things are like my least favorite enemy in the game.

Today dropped a patch that changes flamethrower dmg (+50%) and reduces dmg from railgun to armored parts among other things, might be worth testing and making a video on or pinning the changes in a comment. thought id let you know.

Hi! I just wanted to say that i find your videos really informative and helped. My only real issue with them is that the thumbnail doesn't really grab me and if i was a new viewer i would probably not watch it. I know you are objectively better at being a youtuber than me, as you actually are one, but that is just my two cents. I know you didn't ask but i thought i might offer some advice.

When you don't mention the ease with which you can break leg armor while it's turning after stopping is because of a bug. It's only during this shuffling that the leg armor is easily breakable.

I have seen to many videos where people shoot the legs with autocanon, and I just can't do it. The shots bounce off. I always come back to recoiless rifle

I use flame thrower almost exclusively but I had no idea you had to target the legs

It’s difficult to get down but when can stick stratagems to the chargers legs when it’s winding up for a charge, I always stick the resupply or expendable antitank to it for a quick kill

The 500kg is just too good. Can take out multiple chargers and you can easily bait them into rocks or just dashing past you. Takes some getting used to the timing but it's pretty quick, comes with 2 when upgraded, and refreshes rather quickly. Not to mention one shotting biles, clearing objectives, and looking cool.

The EAT-17 is fun to use because you can stick the strategem drop becaon on the charger, you effectively get three shots out of it, very useful in a pinch

Can't wait to try the flamethrower and the Autocannon again, do you also have a similar guide for Bile Titans?

I've not been able to reliably do it. But I once got a resupply beacon to stick to the charger. Resulting in an instant kill + achievement.
