I used 21% of my iPhone 13 Pro battery health in just over a year of use, wireless charging at night, and fast charging in the car every day (to top up). Now I use a 5W cable at night and don’t top in the car, I am at 100% battery health after 4 months of use.

Best way to mantain your iphone battery is: dont let them go below 20%, use 5w charger at night and just when you are in a rush use the 20w but not in your car, completely forget about wireless or magsafe charging, because is slow and gets warm. By doing this i have an iphone 13 with 90% in two years of extensive use.

I'm using the 10W on my 15 pro max every night. Still 100% since October with 157 battery cycle count.

The chemical reaction that goes on in the battery during fast charging naturally generates heat so blowing cold air outside won’t really prevent battery degradation. Even EVs have coolant flowing through their battery packs to keep the temps down and over time the batteries still degrades.

Indeed the 11 Pro Max is a beast. I own it 4 years now and my battery condition is currently sitting on 81%. But I wanna go for an upgrade this year, looking for the 15 pro max and I hope the battery will be perfect as well!

One thing I've started doing is leave my phone on top of the A/C vent while charging, charge my phone at 25 watts and it stays totally cool

I only use it if I’m desperate for charge, otherwise use the slower chargers

When you’re fast, charging your iPhone having it in front of an air conditioner, cools it from the outside while the battery is heated from the inside not the same thing as just using a slow charger in the first place

i’ll say from experience, it might. i never babied my iphone 7 plus since new. charging it overnight, using powerbanks, car charger, playing multiple matches of PUBG nearly daily for some time, etc. i bought it in march 2017 and haven’t had a battery change. today, i still use it as my secondary phone & modem for my laptop, and it’s currently at 72% battery health.

then there’s my iphone 13 pro. haven’t changed the battery as well, and it’s currently at 74% capacity 🤣 i kinda babied it ever since it reached 78%, avoiding charging overnight & using car chargers and yet it still degrades so fast. i don’t even play heavy games like PUBG anymore. so if i had to guess, either the battery quality has went down, or maybe it’s because of fast charging.

My iPhone is charged using the Apple five W block every single night. My iPhone 14 Pro Max is still at 100% battery health after 10 months my 13 Pro Max was 100% battery health for nearly 13 months my 12 Pro Max was 100% battery health for a full year. And I know it’s because of how cool I keep my iPhone cause I use it all day long and play games on it and FaceTime and iMessage for 8-12 hours a day

iPhone doesn't have fast charging in the first place 😆Nothing even near to the fast charging.
