This isn't even consistent because they sometimes just hit you anyways. The best thing to do is to run straight at them then dive at about a 30 degree angle to their left or right. You're basically aiming to just slip past their front leg.

Diving is useful if they sneak up on you, because you take less damage from them if you're in the air. If you're in a relatively safe spot and you're not getting swarmed, it's best to just walk out of the way of chargers so you can turn and fire on them more easily. But if you are getting run down and you don't have time, mash the dive button and you'll often be knocked clear of the swarm you're in and survive.

Diving used to work. But now they nudge to the side you dodge to. That stuns you long enough to get jumped.

The best way to dodge a charger is literally to run towards it. Then dodge at a 45° to 70° angle to the left or right.
And if you’re actually actually trying to get away from it, keep running towards the nearest large rock After it runs past, you giving you a little bit of a head start.

But yeah, overall dodging chargers is actually fairly easily done and all it involves doing is Just turning left or right at an angle when you get close to it as it’s running towards you. Timing is key of course giving you more time or less time for it to swerve towards you and avoid it, but it works a lot better than diving out of the way.

depends on the situation, sometimes you are busy eating up the horde so you can just dive past the charger and continue with horde control. same logic applies tho, dive behind the charger as best you can.

I always bring rail cannon and quazar cannon. For all heavy enemies, quazar one shots chargers with a head shot, 1 railcannon and 1 quazar to the head usually takes down titans

Chargers are my specialty. I’m strapped with 4 500kgs, orbital rail cannon with the cooldown boost, and endless EATs. Plus whatever strat I feel like carrying for getting overrun with mobs. Whenever my teammates yell charger I’m just like “Bring him to me…”
