I’ve got a Belgian Malinois x German Shepard female. I think she acts more like a Belgian then a GSD, she has an insane drive and needs non stop exercise, her speed is incredible. She flys through the air when she is catching her frisbee or ball, a bit of a show off really. Lol. She’s very loving and loyal with her family and is not friendly with strangers. I pity the fool that try’s to break into my house. Lol

I like both breeds, and did a lot of research on both breeds before making my choice. For myself I chose the GSD for their larger size and although it is hard to find the "OFF" button they do possess one, lol. My black male is only 9 months old but large and protective. He was exactly what I was looking for given my lifestyle. Even at his young age he has already proven himself and I couldn't be happier with my choice.

Belgian Malinois are even more active than German shepherds. Likely an issue if you like being lazy.
