I have a question and a comment. Comment first. Some years ago I installed an insulated window in a steel workshop door, but I had to mill up the trim work and while it worked it did look homemade. I have a door, just like yours in the video, that I would like to install a window. Can you recommend a store or company that offers windows and the accompanying trim? I'm drawing a blank on what to ask for. Thanks.

So the new glass kit is close $500.00🤦‍♂️😂. I can buy a new door WITH the glass already installed for that.

First off, I'm very new to home ownership and using power tools... after you measure and draw your cut lines, you can just free hand the straight line cut? The glass has enough wiggle room so that it doesn't' need to be super super SOOPER precise? Also, other videos say not to cut all the way through the door. Do you know why they suggest to cut halfway through, flip the door and repeat?

Looks great! But doesn't anyone else notice that the knob to open their deadbolt is right there next to the glass?? What's to stop someone from breaking the glass amd easily getting in!?
