This is exactly how I broke those rings! NOT every screen would be that easy. IF it got stuck, don't pull the ring too hard!!! DO IT FROM OUTSIDE!!! Push it into the slots & be careful not to break the window glasses😅

Exceptions to this would be if you have ancient windows with separate storm windows that get screwed over the existing and are only able to be removed from the outside. This lucky guy has windows from this century. 😅😅
