So this is gonna sound crazy but I managed to interlace my toes the other day out of curiosity (with the help of my hands), was surprised my feet stayed securely clasped, and then adventured into butterfly pose. I felt like this unlocked a new leverage in this pose for me. something about passively anchoring the feet together from overly inverting, opposing the pull of the knees really engaged the stretch along the whole medial leg. if anyone else has discovered this or decides to try let me know!

You can also do it with your glutes and ankles on blocks!
