● Description
Last week I got my heart broken by a girl because I didn't know how to make video games, so to prove everyone wrong and redeem myself I threw a game-making party. I had to learn how to work in the Unity game engine, how to program in c#, and how to make 2D animations. I started making a Hack And Slash / Action type of game, after a bit of programming and making animations I got things working and served one hot game straight to you. The game made in Unity uses a wave system to spawn enemies, there are 25 waves in total, and after that hell begins. I used Unity's post-processing component to add vignette and bloom effects. The camera's behavior is made using cinemachine. 2D game assets are made using Aseprite.

Iridescent is a simple 2D game made in unity game engine in c#, maybe next time I can make an FPS, RPG, or even a multiplayer game. Also, it would be fun to try out Unreal Engine, but who the hell knows c++?

I know you've probably heard it before since the video is old, but using Unity's particle system saves performance and separates the processing done by the CPU onto the GPU, It's a lot more efficient to use performance wise and helps a lot in the long run

I'm trying to make a 2d adventure and action game with a bit of possible fighting. Is there any tutorials you recommend? At the moment I can't actually start because I can't figure out how to make anything in the editor yet.. but I will. I can draw pretty well now but I have no idea how to make this editor work.
