Have been working with games and game engines for many years... And if my thoughts are worth anything to anyone, here it is.... : Unity excels in the 2D domain, as well as in the mobile development domain. For a mobile or 2D game, I would pick Unity *any* day. While Unreal excels in most other areas. And Godot is actually rising quite fast, but not really sure what Godot excels at, but it's license with it's extremely good.
