I was definitely expecting this type of video given the number of new players in the game, so if there's anyone new reading these comments, here's a few quick specific tips:
1. Interrupts. I've seen a painful amount of people in M+ that don't use interrupts, find it and use it.
2. Cleanse! Guarantee everyone has died to a debuff or dot they could have removed at least once
3. Class utility. I'm talking tricks of the trade, transendence, feign death, all those abilities you never think about until you spend time to learn them. Once you have the basics down, spend time finding situations to use a certain ability until it becomes habit

Oh and stop staring at your rotation, you're standing in fire again :')

Training dummies should have a score-board like on old arcade games showing highest score and a list of where you score on the list.

I came here in hope of release of the anxiety when I see a Firemage and a Sub Rogue Comb in the arena... well...

Ever since I came back to the game at the end of MoP (quit during firelands in cata) I’ve had tanking anxiety, despite it still being my favorite role. Just can’t bring myself to tank pugs anymore. People expect you to go at blazing speeds these days, not that I was ever a slug I still didn’t feel highly pressured to speed run every single dungeon before.

A wise man once said, "Spaced repetition is the king for learning.", then again, and then... again. *taps temple*

Also, making a set of keybinds for all my characters (using Shift and Control modifier keys for a bunch of things, too) and making that uniform across my characters was the best thing I ever did to improve my gameplay and enjoyment of the game. And that was back being main tank in Burning Crusade when I finally took the time to do that. I've got my Purge/Tranq Shot/Dispel Magic on the same hotkey for every character with something like that, same with my stuns, my situationals, all that jazz. Having a mindset built in innately for any character class that "Oh, I need a defensive skill for this. *boop*" and just hitting my defensive button is so nice.

That's my best advice two-cents to toss onto this video. If you're someone that plays a lot of different characters then you will definitely benefit greatly from doing this.

I’m a tad late but I want to say how thankful I am for this video. I know it’s just a game and it’s supposed to be an escape, but I’ve always been so hard on myself to the point where I do not want to accept I need to be better because that would mean I’m not good at something. I will make a list on what I need to work on to target my learning.

Once upon a time, during the panda expansion, i came back to wow after a 2 year hiatus. I Logged my pally tank in, hit the LFG button, had a instant group and went with it. At some point during the run i noticed my healer had agro. I instantly bubbled her and continued on. Later at the end of the run i received my healers thanks, and i was left wondering where on my vanilla bars that spell was located, and which keybind cast it. I couldn't find it anywhere, and figured it was part of a macro. I did find the spell in a macro, but couldnt find the macro on my bars anywhere either. Still i had managed to cast it during that run. So eventually i found it on Bar 9. Back when i played, i used unitframes and a thoroughly custom UI. My fingers remembered how to save my healer from agro. After 2 years of not playing, my fingers knew, not my brain. Thats the kind of level you want to be playing at.

my guide to getting good:
collect mounts, shit on people who don't have mounts. if someone is bragging about a mount you dont have just say "everyone has that mount"

As Prot Paladin, I don't have to feel anxiety. We're just that good.

Well done for posting a video about how to help people do better and avoid anxiety. It’s crazy how people get so anxious and I’m included. I guess it’s coz I personally don’t wanna let my team down or feel stupid! But well done for making it. I will watch tommoz when I have free time!

yeah it's true, i got a LOT better and chill once i adjusted my key bindings and got through the tough phase of getting used to the changed layout (with a lot of sudden dismounting, pulling cooldowns and attacking random stuff 😬)

@bellulargaming, it's about time you make a video about the growing dissatisfaction with SL.

Easily one of the best studio settings on Youtube. So pleasant to look at it.

Also, develop a macro that automatically blames the healer or the tank. Since DPS can practice at a dummy or out in the world, but tanks and heals only getting better by wiping. Which makes them popular. There's nothing that makes the learning process more relaxing than having the group blame you. Including the toon that's doing a quarter the dps of the other two.
