Here is my beginner guide for anybody starting World of Warcraft now, or returning after a long break! Lots has changed in WoW over the years and starting off can leave you confused, so this series aims to answer your questions and guide you through your first steps in Azeroth... or your first steps back!

I have decided to break the series down into multiple parts, so if you're only needing help on one thing, you don't need to sit through hours worth of video! If there's anything I didn't cover, feel free to ask me about it in the comments!

Part 5 dives deeper into gear, how to get gear, rarity levels, stats on gear and what they can do... item enhancements such as enchants and where to get them!

I'm level 6, but all the gear I can buy from vendors, get from quests or craft with blacksmithing is like level 2.. Why is this? How can I get up to date gear?

if you pvp you have to get conquest gear or you will be killed before you can even hit your second skill
you have to do arena every week and get 3 orbs in your vault
set bonus pieces and enchants etc
this is a requirement if you want to play random casual battlegrounds
this is the honest truth
you may lose to premade groups
