You can make quite a bit more gold with certain gathering profession specializations too. Such as getting full Null Stones from certain ore deposits.

My Brann has been bugging and not finishing his gathering / not giving me an item. Been happening for close to a week now. Are you sure this still works? Because the price of tinderboxes would imply others are having the same issue.

It is much much less than 100k per hour. I have been doing this since the expansion dropped. I have even leveled 4 characters doing only this. I have leveled 3 by completing the delve while getting all herb/mining nodes, and I leveled a rouge by picking only herbs and mining. Sometimes you can go a whole hour without getting 1 Tinderbox, sometimes you get lucky and get 4 or 5 per hour, but it usually is about 2 per hour. So many creators over-hyping this farm for views. It is a decent farm, but it isn't even close to what they claim. I find more Tinderboxes picking up treasures while mining in the open world

Got 8 boxes in one hour. They sell for around 8k each. With herbs and metalls i made like 72k. On a 70 druid. I also leveled to lvl 72 (rested) so it‘s pretty nice. Thank you

This was already nerfed, wasn't it? Now profaned tinder boxes can be traded with the blacksmith vendor for 3 of not so rare other items. Curently around 500-600 gold per profaned tinderbox in the AH on my server.

Appreciate the vid, but this doesn't work. 10/5/24 when you go into the delve Brann just....doesn't gather. Using my druid that's herb/mine 100 skill on both. Also tried on my 100 mining pally. Don't matter. He doesn't fish, herb, mine....nothin. Tried it stealthed, and unstealthed. They hotfix this or is it just my account that's bugged?

Only reason for the price fluctuations is bran was bugged, people were exploiting it for tinderboxes and getting 100+ an hour they fix it and banned a lot of accs then released the tier change for drop amount, hope that helps.

I've been doing this since exp release + did a bunch today since a lot of people claim for nerfs. I do it differently, I do the entire delve for the 2 chests at the end since in low tiers with 615 ilvl everything blows up, tinderboxes can come off those too and can disenchant shit at the end + gold bags. I dont know why people say its nerfed its the same its always been. I do a slower method, still get 6-8 consistently per hour, plus whatever comes from gold bags + disenchanting which might not amount to the value of a single tinderbox even. If done optimally, 150k gold seems like a reasonable number to reach.

I've been doing this exact farm on my druid with mining/herb for a couple hours a day the past 2 days. Solo I get 9-10 boxes an hour average. But that average is based on HOURS farming because sometimes he won't pop one for 45 mins, then I've also got 3 boxes in a single run, one from each node. You have to stick with until RNG kicks in and you get a few in 5 mins. In about 5 hours total farming I've sold 43 boxes and around 2500 herbs and ore. If Brann won't gather, I usually have to initiate combat to break him out of passive mode. But he bugs out 6 or 7 out of 10 times gathering and tosses you nothing at all. Fishing pools are the worst. I'll often get a tinderbox without even getting a fish. If you have a second account it doubles your chances because when he gathers it will toss to your alt too if it's in range. I'd either run my druid off the ledge and park him in stealth by the bridge in the middle or set him to follow. By having a second I gathered 15 boxes in an hour.

Chug Truesight potions as well, there's hidden nodes in delves also.

I think you are better off running ringing deeps clockwise with herbalism + mining specced into 45 bismuth for full null stones and plethora of ore maxed. You'll also want to hit every clump of wax and treasure chest for the chance at the profaned tinderboxes. I am making 75-100k an hour that way, and its fairly consistent because im reliant more on materials and null stones than profaned tinderboxes.

The reason for price spikes is often when some whale sits with his longneck near a mailbox and either a script or an addon that just buys up everything below a certain price and then automatically relists it at a higher price

30-40k an hours 2024-10-05 on a mw monk making brann loot the fishing node with the utility curio olden seeker relic brann does not seem to give any tinderbox from herb/ore or i got very unlucky

Yeah theres no way this is a thing, I ran about 6 of these and can only find 2 spots to gather. took me about 6 mins maybe as a rogue not 1 tinderbox...

while you can't gather tinderboxes from fishing you CAN gather imperfect and perfect null stones from fishing pools

I was going through t1-t8 with a friend and at the end chests at t7 i got 3 tinderboxes in one chest it was great
