How to Fix Laggy Video Timeline Footage!

Was having issues with my video editor being very laggy while trying to edit drone clips. Hopefully this video helps you out!

Already using MP4 2.7k 60fps from a my GoPro 11. Still laggy on the timeline in Lightworks Pro. Asus 13th gen i7 10 core machine with 40 gigs of RAM, RTX 3050 GPU. Don't understand why I'm still seeing lag. Fast SSDs running. Makes no sense.

Okay so what if it already is MP4? The timeline moves smoothly it's just certain clips. At certain times. For example the clip I'm seeing do it the most I actually had to hit fit to frame because it was zoomed in pretty bad. Idk if that has anything to do with it. I'm kind of ignorant when it comes to photos/videos and the files and sizes and resolutions and all that 😑 please feel free to dumb down explanation lol
