I used to have 20/15 vision on both eyes all the way up to this year where I had my check up and I’m 20/40 on right eye and 20/20 on left eye. I blame online school

I can start to see blur past 1 foot... Using my phone is fine at normal distances but watching TV is impossible without glasses. The closer an object is. The better I see its details. The further an object is, the blurrier it is but like proper blur. The type of blur you add in photoshop called guassian blur.

I feel like I’m the only one that actually has to wear shitty glasses all my life 24/7 I have really really bad astigmatism and everything is completely blurry 😭I wish I could see normally

20/1400. Contacts are -9.5 plus major astigmatism. Sometimes my right eye just quits if stressed...too much reading, a long drive, etc.

I'm legally blind as I'm 20/200 in my right, along with tunnel vision (glasses only keep me stable, they don't correct my vision unfortunately), and totally blind in my left eye, so, yeah I'm up there in blindness alittle bit. So when I use something like my phone, I use a special accessibility feature called "TalkBack" which is the Android built in screenreader. I'm heavily auditorial due to my legal blindness, and I have ROP as I'm a 26 weeker, I'm 28 now.

Not quite sure why this video was so short they could of done a lot more with it, but my vision before lasik was 20/200 They had to show lines and ask which direction they were going on the vision test I couldn't see the big A... I got lasik and could see like an eagle, better then ever in my life, I could see 20/15. Then a few years later I had to get correction again. So don't get lasik if you are in early 20's your vision may still change causing you to have to get glasses again ( just like if you were to need a increase in prescription. And you may not be able to get " top up" on lasik because there isn't enough material in your eye to remove to make it perfect again.

My husband and I both have horrible eye vision.. having our kid tested he has 20/10 vision..

What would a power of -5.50 be in 20/x? I don’t know how to calculate it.

I’m dealing with astigmatism and nearsightedness. My right eye is -1.00 & my left is -0.25. I really hope my vision is corrected 😭 I can’t deal with wearing glasses

I have glasses, 20/70 in one eye and I’m guessing 20/80 ish in the other

Refraction +0.25 Diopters.

I’m a -1.5 in both eyes, probably 20/80 VA. That was at my last eye appointment a few months ago at least, but my prescription doubled from my first appointment to the next one under a year later so it may not be accurate now. Either way i can’t even see a T.V. That’s a few feet away from me. Just this morning my brother tried showing me something on his phone a few feet away and then laughed when he remembered i couldn’t see anything but the bright colors 😅

The DMV requires
20/70, 20/40, and 20/40 both eyes open.
