I'm 80 years old. I remember going with my uncle when he was maintaining oil field engines. He used a lot of it. It still smells the same. You never forget the smell. I was a.small kid then.

The reason I am watching this is because I wanted to see what everybody else is doing with there mistery oil . I have been using this product since 1977 in old cars that I would buy as a young man . first one was a 1968 Malibu 307 that appearer to burn oil . this car was nice maroon with black vinyl top with black vinyl interior . paid 25 dollars off my girlfriends father . I put out of a five quart fill -- three and one half quart regular oil -- one and a half mistery oil for my oil change . then I dumped the other half of mystery oil in the full tank of gas of the Malibu . and then cruised back and forth down M 59 to Pontiac and then back around to Utica up in Michigan . you could actually feel it bog and drag the sound of the motor down until I ran some of the gas out and added more . In less than three days the Malibu did not smoke anymore and had more get up and go . ~ hard life (MULDEW)

I added just a quart to a 2000 Tacoma V6. Lately it's been struggling to drive up grades at highway speeds in the overdrive gear, which it used to do just fine. I did also abuse a synthetic oil change and stained up the motor a bit. 200 miles in after adding MMO, now it seems its low-end torque is kinda back for highway grades, and it idles a bit differently. The idle sounds and feels more consistent, like as if any cylinders that lost compression have gained it back and are now all similar to each other. It used to just make random pulses or vibrations at idle, and now it idles with more consistent rhythm.

It WORXXXX. I invested 1, 400 and no one could fix my sputtering. This oil cured my sputtering and idling issues once I put it in the tank.

No discussion can be complete without mention of the twin evil of sticky valves and gummy rings. It is precisely here that feeding it through the oil and fuel routes can make a long term difference. I have driven cross-country adding MMO to my gas and believe it polished the sides of the engine. It was a Volvo engine.
Rings grooves have a fine structure of drain holes which are extremely vulnerable to dirt. Varnish is a natural product of the gasoline. And it bakes on. MMO and other products disolve these deposits.
When once you free up gummy rings and stop an oil burner, then you know.

I used to use it. It dropped my oil temperature by 10 degrees Celsius when operating.

In 1932 my grandfather knew the engineer that invented MMO. He had a chance to invest in it ( $5000 ). But in 1932 that was alot of $.

Oil of wintergreen is a powerful cleaner. The wintergreen smell isn't to make it "smell nice".
Marvel Oil is the best. It's a cleaner / Lubricant with anti wear additives. Add it to the gas tank every fill up and always run light maintenance dose of a few ounces in the engine oil 100% of the time always. No need to add anywhere near 20% to the engine oil.

Yeah, it's a full interval additive. I've used 20% in multiple cars no issues. One car I only added it to the Gas, and literally I could hardly hear it running. It was a GM cobalt. Of course after that gas ran out it started making noise again, we stilled talking so I didn't get to experiment with that cars OIL change. Which would be interesting. I have a Honda Civic 2005 ex coupe. I don't have it in the oil currently. But I will add it if the oil goes down at all. Or if the engine acts up in the winter. I also use it whenever I don't use Top Tier Gas. For the added protection.

When I was a kid dad had me using it as engine assembly oil.It was way to thin but the engines we rebuilt always ran fine.We argued working on engines when i was an adult beacause he was cheap and i was a perfectionist to tear an engine down and not replace the rings i could not understand you tore it down for a reason too bad i learned alot from him and miss him .

This MMO additive works really well to remove gum deposits that cause drag inside your engine. The website says to use 10-25% and I remember on the metal cans to use 4-oz per quart. If you run a pint in your engine all the time and dose your gas tank, your car will perform better and never have dirty injectors. Marvels works better if it can soak on the deposits, this is why you should leave it in a long time and not use it as a quick flush product.

The title of the video is Marvels Mystery oil how well does it work? The question was never answered, basically a video on how to add MMO to your engine & how to spill it.

After watching this video. I think I'm going to try it in my Toyota that seems to have an unquenchable thirst for oil consumption. If this product has been around since 1923, there has to be something more to it that it's still around today, and getting good reviews to top it off. There's no mystery to it, it simply works, and has withstood the test of time.

Looks like you added 2 tablespoons of MMO, this is just ridiculous.

I have a 2011 f150 5.0 getting close to 100, 000 miles. I am anal about service. I've sent in oil samples to see how they are doing. I decided to start adding this to the gas today and before my next oil change I might add a little in the crankcase.
