That ain't the same filter you showed at first. First one was gold and the dirty one was WHITE. What's up with that?

I have been using Marvel Mystery Oil in the gas in my vehicles at every fill up since 2016. I use the recommended amount of 4 ounces of MMO for every 10 gallons of gas. My car now gets at least one to two more miles per gallon on the highway, and my vehicles are running better than ever.

About five years ago, my 2002 Chevy truck had a loud lifter ticking noise. The oil was a quart low, so I added a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil to the crankcase. Soon the lifter ticking noise disappeared. I drove the truck about 400 miles and when I changed the oil, it was extremely dirty.

The Fram filter is the new one going into the vehicle, while the white looks like supertech was just removed from the engine

Super Tech is damn good oil, if you change oil/filter every 3k-5k miles, you can't go wrong. FRAM XG and TG are decent filters.

Helped on a 2008 Suzuki XL7 piston rings seized causing oil burning. 👍

It definitely helped ! I’ve only used it a few times.. usually I put a few ounces in when I buy a vehicle that looks to be neglected. And run it 1k kms with fresh oil then an oil change ..

How about you stop trying to pull a switch and tell us why the first filter is gold and the cut open one is white.

The video that “The oil geek” did about adding oil additives to your crank case isn’t a good idea.Since it dilutes your oil and can cause more friction and wear to your motor.MMO was one of the the better ones but still shown it could cause wear.
I’m a big fan of MMO i’v used it in some vehicles with neglected oil changes and it does work.
I really started using it after watching some of your old videos when you were testing it.
My question is I guess if it can cause slight engine wear by diluting your oil, the instructions say to use it 300 miles or whatever it is before your next oil change.
Would you recommend a max milage say in this case if a person wanted to start cleaning out their motor and added it in right away with a fresh oil change that you would recommend changing it out?
lOr whats your option on the whole oil additives thing and how long you would recommend using them before you do an oil change if you wanted to add it in right away to start cleaning out a neglected motor?

In my experience, if you own from new then normal oil change internals are fine, but with a used car I use MMO as in the video. It's great stuff. Most folk reckon it's mineral hyd oil based with some detergent additives & oil of wintergreen (salicylic acid). It does a superb job of cleaning a dirty engine.

What kind of filter was it that you cut opened? It didn't look like a Fram.

Why did you show that frame filter in the beginning then the filter you showed cut was a white filter?
