You have good info but Its not "just oil". Its 74% lightweight mineral oil and 25% stoddard solvent. The solvent is where its cleaning properties come from.

I use MMO every time I change oil and I use it right after an oil change with fresh oil (5000-7500 Miles or 1 year). But right after an oil change I don't use 20% MMO with fresh oil. I use 3%-4% MMO (6oz to 8oz with 7qts of fresh oil). I believe this lil amount ain't going to hurt anything for the next 6 months to 12 months (5k-7.5k miles) but it should help stabilized my engine oil longer. Before an oil change I use amsoil engine flush. What do you think about my method?

I put 1/4th of an ounce in a full tank of gas into my 17 Fiat 500x Trekking, and can tell a difference, especially driving up inclined roads!

It removes oil deposits. If your car is less than 5 years old then you don't need it as your engine won't have much in the way of oil deposits. If your car is 6 years or older, add it so that it is 10% of the total oil volume in the engine. But since it thins the oil viscosity, you also need to add the same amount of the non-synthetic version of Lucas HD OIl Stabilizer to the oil in order to add viscosity to the engine oil itself.

You do know that oils have anti foaming in them because bubbles mean starvation of oil.

Today's vehicles are mostly GDI systems running on 0W-20 oil. I don't think its safe to be adding MMO..
