“Vicious little murderers” 😂 what a brilliant way to put that!

My sister has had Cavaliers for decades. They seem to have lots of health issues. I would steer clear of them just for that reason.

I always said I'd have a cavi after having staffies for so long but your videos have 100% convinced me that a cavi will be perfect.

Love my Cavaliers, always happy to be with me doing whatever, from kayaking to playing video games

My rat terrier is the perfect little gentleman. Unless you’re a small woodland creature.

The health of Cavaliers puts me off. They seem lovely but so are pugs for the most part but they are so unhealthy. Terriers are at least typically healthy but yeah they can be difficult dogs even if they're not aggressive. They're often stubborn but also smart - they'll do something to get what they want but otherwise good luck.

Crikey, my JRx is not a "vicious little murderer" and she doesn't need constant watching either. She is sweet, fun, affectionate, very well behaved, easily trained and obedient family dog. She doesn't bark much at all and never without sensible reason, doesn't chase small creatures and is fab with children.

My Sis-in-law had a Bichon Frisé. ADORABLE pup, and personality plus! She was so funny! I kept her for a few months, while both brother and wife were in the hospital. She LOVED being with my Lab and Golden, and was fine with our three cats. She was a spunky little thing and was nearly 20 y.o. when she died last year. What a great companion she turned out to be! 💗

Rat terriers are excellent small dogs on farms. Also, the dachshund is up there. They were breed to go into badger holes and hunt them. As a kid in the 70’s we lived on the edge of town. There was literally a farm across the street. My father counted 27 cats around the house when we moved in. None of them survived our dachshund Charlie past the first two week. My mother counted dozens of snakes, mice, rats and rabbits that Charlie brought home dead.

Yorkies are brilliant for hunting mice in the house. Mine caught a few and they go nuts doing so

I have a jack chi. She is the sweetest towards people, fine with other dogs but isn't really interested in making new friends, and a vicious small prey hunter. She's not a vicious murderer unless you are bug, mouse or a lizard. She actually alerted me that some mice had made my house their home and that a scorpion hade made its way to my living room. She's stubborn though and extremely driven. Terrier breeds are great and terrible for the same reason, their tenacity and drive.

Crying 😂😂 my terrier reminds me of the film gremlins, they can be so sweet and affectionate but get water on them and no rodent is safe!

As an English Toy Terrier owner I have to agree. They are awesome little companions but a lot of work as well.

Cheers.

my family has what we THINK is a japanese chin mix . her name is gizmo and she is literally the sweetest, dumbest little baby on earth. we adore her, she really is a perfect small dog, her demeanor is so relaxed and friendly, she just wants love and cuddles and snacks and to run around outside sometimes

My JRT puppy had a scorpion drop off a door right next to her. She went at it, and it stung her on the nose. She jumped vertically, shook her head twice, ran to me for a hug, and then got on with the rest of her day. Vicious little murdering baby that she is, we love her.

We've also learned that 'pig tight' rather than 'bull tough' is the kind of fence you need. We should have named her Houdini.
