I had two rescue greyhounds as a teen, can confirm, couch potatoes. Very sweet dogs, quiet, never bark.

I think the bulldog needs less promotion and more leave it alone. So prone to illnesses. Otherwise nice surprise with the greyhound

Retired greyhounds are excellent elegant potatoes🥰

A few more points to advertise for the greyhound: they don't have health issues as they are bred for performance. So no stubby nose that inteefears with breathing, no hip problems and so on. When they fart you don't have to evacuate the room because it often is nearly odorless. You get a big dog you can still cuddle on the couch without being squashed and they don't get join problems like big danes. Also: no slobbering at all. The short fur needs next to no work and feels silky when stroked. They do loose hair like we do, but they have no seasonal shedding. Besides their great health, these are just the minor side bonuses. The biggest reason to pick a dogbreed is it's behaviour and energy level. If you can't go for walks/bike rides for 2 hours twice a day, forget all high energy breeds.

... you are promoting two breeds that have a lot of health issues. Any possible owner needs to be ready to watch their dog suffer, and hopefully have saved money for veterinary bills👍

I've *never* met a Cavalier King Charles that I didn't adore.

Excellent puppies.

Here I am, 8:30 on a Saturday morning, wanting to get up but my Galgo Espanol (very close relative to the greyhound) rolls on his back and wants more cuddles. They truly deserve the title "fastest couch potato".

Sight hounds are great for apartment living. I chose a borzoi when I was a teen because they are the only breed not barking at the dog shows. The just lounge around. You do have to find a large enclosed field for them to run a couple times a week at least.

I've had greyhounds for nearly 20 years and they're lovely.

My cavapoo is the perfect little boy. His cavalier KC spaniel mum was also slightly smaller so he ended up being quite a dainty little thing. He’s such an easy, funny, smart and happy little dog, and not to mention so adorable!

Cavs are seriously the sweetest dogs ever. As a groomer in training I love having them on my table, it’s always a treat!

My family rescued a greyhound a while ago (2001) and he was amazing. We called him our 40mph(~90kph?) couch potato. About every 3-4 days, he would get the zoomies and run around our back yard for about 15 mins and be good for another 3-4 days.

My grandparents have always owned greyhounds, and they are the gentlest, sweetest, most relaxed dogs I've ever met. Unless they see a squirrel dart in front of them, then they may start pulling

I had a neighbour who had a cavalier King Charles and it was SO loud and barked constantly whenever it was out and saw anyone at all. Super excitable and soooo piercingly loud.

The greyhounds are so calm and lazy inside and love to sleep but can be so powerful outside

I'm too concerned about the ethical part of bulldogs and the spaniel. But I'd surely own a hound
