I understand disconnecting the inlet valve hose (length issue when removing dishwasher from cabinet) but can you explain why the junction box and wiring had to be undone for this procedure?

Why don't the manufacturer put the element in the other direction, so you don't have to disconnect everything. That way, you could access the electrical connections at the front of the dishwasher, by removing the bottom front access panel. This would save a lot of time and effort.

So i pull on the wired for the heating element and it doesnt come off. Seems like a safety clip inside. Did you guys forget to tell us about that?

Im failing to understand the need for un-wiring the junction box. Is this step crucial?

Can anyone help me with diagnostic flashing lights on this particular dishwasher? Wash temp boost is flashing and I think it’s a faulty heating element but need to confirm before I buy the parts

Great video. But, why not just unplug the dishwasher so you don’t have to mess with the junction box?

I understand most everything except for why junction box needs messed with. I’m sure there is an apparent reason.
