I like that this video explains your strategy at the time. This provides a great personal narrative and perspective, and adds a personal connection and credibility to your channel.

Unfortunately a number of the intro offers you referenced aren't applicable today. I think your channel would benefit from a monthly/quarterly video explaining "Which cards would I get if I started from scratch today?" This would allow you to blue sky based on current intro offers. For more analytic viewers you could pair that with a spending scenario and show the points and examples of rewards achieved at the end of a year.

The video could be quite short on card/strategy details, then reference supporting videos/articles in the description.

I dont get the reason of keeping Amex Aeroplan even after getting AP Reserve?
I myself have these right now and I'm planning to get a new one, suggest me a few?
Current cards: Rbc visa ion, Amex Cobalt, Brim WE MC, Scotia Visa Passport, Triangle WE MC, TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite.

I’m surprised you don’t have the Amex cobalt, the 5x for grocery and restaurants would really help rack up those MR points

Awesome video! do you have any suggestions on the best credit cards for cash back that are not American express? I am planning to use them in stores that are not accepting AMEX. I intend to use my Amex cobalt for those Aeroplan points. Thanks!

I’ve got a few questions, is it bad to close a credit card if you don’t need it anymore? Is it bad to have too many cards ? Thank you in advance.

I was watching this video again (great video by the way) but had a question in reference to the Amex Gold Card. It’s 2% on gas, grocery and pharmacies and travel, and 1% on everything else (shopping, restaurants, online shopping etc) but on your website you have it listed as 4x on dining purchases. I am curious how you came up with that. Thanks. Keep up the great content. I hope you do some content on the devaluing of points programs and dynamic pricing within the Canadian market and Canadians best options to counter these unfortunate problem.

Great content in a very good format !! I have Q, since you recently mentioned Amex cobalt is one of the best cards in a class of its own, surprised to not see it in your pick. would you swap out the gold for the blue Amex if you are putting together this video now ?

Thank you
