2:39 If you're over 5/24 then you're unlikely to get a Chase Business card as easily as you make it out to be. The Business card approval doesn't "count" by not adding to your 5/24 total but the approval of said Chase Business card still requires you to be under 5/24 at the time of application. YMMV.

Chase business cards do account for your personal 5/24. If you are at 5/24 when you apply for the business card you will not be approved.

However, once you get the business card it won't add to your 5/24.

Apparently Turkish airlines (VX) redemptions for domestic travel on United saver space flights is an amazing sweet spot.

15k round trip for economy even to Hawaii (I think even between US and Canada is pretty cheap as well like 20k RT). I believe you have to call Turkish airlines to get those redemptions as the website is really finicky, but it’s on their award charts.

So in that way the flight redemptions are absolutely absurd, probably the most absurd I’ve seen yet.

One real important consideration you forgot to mention regarding cancelling card is waiting for the next annual fee to kick in before requesting to cancel the card. Cancelling the card before the 12th month will tarnish your relationship with amex and chase as they are very sensitive with early cancellations

I also got the Bilt card and bumped myself up to 5/24. Now I’m going to need the mercy of a Chase promo to get a biz card with them for the next year until I drop down to 4/24. Live and learn though! I’m squarely in the mid-game myself, so this was fun to watch. Great video Jake!
