► Today, I'm going back to my namesake and giving you some tips on how to start like a pro in Pokemon Sword and Shield! With these games right around the corner, everyone is starting fresh in the Galar region - but if you follow this guide, you'll be at a huge advantage! In this video, I discuss the following three tips -
1) Have event Pokemon ready!
At release, Pokemon Sword and Shield will have four special Pokemon available: Mew from the Pokeball Plus, a special Pikachu that can gigantamax if you have Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu Save Data, a special Eevee that can gigantamax if you have Pokemon Let's Go Eevee Save Data, and a special event Meowth you can download from a mystery gift!
2) Know the version exclusives.
3) Start the game with a pre order bonus! There are a lot of pre order bonuses, but one that sticks around the longest is the promo code for 12 Quick Balls you can get from purchasing Pokemon Sword and Shield from the Nintendo eShop!

By utilizing these three tips, you will have a huge advantage over everyone else!

If you want to complete the Pokedex, you'll need a lot. First you'll need a game that has a normal Yamask, the Pokemon Home Premium Plan, both Let's Go games (fast home transfer) AND pokemon sword and shield. There's most likely something i missed.

Another pro tipp most people already know about is the following: Unique rewards like these event Quickballs can't be gotten by just starting another new game. You have to reset your edition to get them if you start a new game after the first one. It is called a wondercard I believe. I was a bit annoyed by not having the Victini event again back in I believe it was black? Or black 2? The event with the lighthouse where you get it... Sadly I did not know that and was wondering where the ticket and the lighthouse were when I started a new game for fun because I wanted to try playing it with the other two starters. Learn from my mistake people if you want to restart a new Pokemon game...
