I have done this in two of my presentations. One was inter collegiate and guess what i won. I didn't know this is a thing.Thought starting with your name is too usual. I really like to start with quotes related to the topic or something. Gives ur presentation a professional touch kinda

Start with a brief explanation of why we are gathered and greet them for spending their time and then in the end tell your name and welcome them.
