Born in ‘61 I was 25 when the original Top Gun came out and used to get such a total charge listening to the soundtrack on cassette back then as well as watching it over and over again on VHS… Amazing where we were at turning 60 when Top Gun Maverick came out and having dealt with a year or two of Covid and this movie gave us a reason that Summer to go to the movies again and feel good… 👍🏼😎

Great music, great movie. Tom cruises crowning achievement as an actor AND an aviator. Much respect for him considering we are roughly the same age. I had soloed an airplane just before top gun 1. 35 years later and over 25000 hours of military and civilian flying and I’m in awe that Tom has accomplished his aviation milestones AND had an impressive acting career in that time. Jack Reacher, Oblivion, and the Top Gun movies the highlights for me. A lot of folks think Tom is weird. I like his energy!
