Hydrogen Peroxide Is Amazing - Remove Yellow Sweat Stains #laundry #diy #cleaning #laundrytips

Hydrogen peroxide has many uses, but one of my favorites is its ability to remove old yellow oxidized stains.

Because HP is a form of oxygen bleach, also known as non-chlorine bleach and color safe bleach, it works really well at correct the color of stains.

Just spray it on, and let it air dry overnight for best results. Odds are you’ll have to repeat this process for tough stains BUT it does work given enough tries.

My dad wore his white short sleeved shirt to go pick black raspberries. He got juice on it and also scratched his arm on the brambles and bled on it. My mother used hot water to get the juice out but thought that the blood was also juice. So she gave me the shirt to get all the blood out. I washed the shirt and hung it in the sun and just dribbled the hydrogen peroxide on the blood spots. It took a few hours of hanging in the sun and several dribbles of H2O2 to get the blood stains out!

As a woman I have known the power of peroxide since middle school.

I mix half ammonia and half peroxide and spray on carpet spots. It works 99% of the time, especially on food stains, blood stains, and even dog "scootches"

True also 1 cup salt in washer takes out sweat stains and blood let laundry soak/stand for a few hours and don't forget to rinse it out before you put it in the washer with the rest of laundry in washer or it can set stains in clothes be careful cuz it can if you mix it up😂😮

With about a tsp of dawn soap, works miracles on most white stains

Peroxide is great, but slightly diluted ammonia will take out even set in blood stains A LOT quicker than ANYTHING. So far have seen no fabric damage. Work in ventilated area. I've spent weeks of my life working on blood stains why didn't I know this 30 years ago?

You have to be careful with colored things, because hydrogen peroxide also bleaches. Benzoyl peroxide bleaches, too, as many have used it to treat acne have found out the hard way.

I have a huge black walnut tree and I crack the nuts from there and just dye everything brown and if it gets stained I'll just do it again
