whitening teeth with hydrogen peroxide? #shorts

Most dental pros will not recommend DAILY USE of hydrogen peroxide for teeth whitening. If you need to use peroxide for SOMETHING ELSE going on in your mouth — for a short amount of time, it’s fine.

But DAILY swishing will mess up the bacterial flora in your mouth — killing off both the good and bad bacteria which can lead to BLACK HAIRY TONGUE, soft tissue irritation, and redness and itchiness on the gums.

So if you were planning to swish with it to whiten your teeth – it’s not recommended. Instead, consider using whitening products (strips, gels, trays, etc) that are specifically designed to safely and effectively whiten your teeth.

I have some issues with chromogenic bacteria that is causing some staining in my teeth i tried to prevent them by regularly flossing but it didn't work. So im thinking should i use hydrogen peroxide or is there some other alternatives that i can use

It's recommended by my dentist, 30 seconds to 1 minute, but don't use it daily like 3 times a week and do not swallow it.

Just use whitening strips ofr if you're gonna do this nvr go above 3% hydrogen peroxide and get used to a Black hairy tongue

I didnt use it on my teeth but I used it on my tongue because i had stubborn tongue staining that wouldnt come off how much i tried. It worked

As long as your diluting it and then completely rinsing your mouth out to prevent it from going down into your gut. You will be fine. It works miracles with keeping your breath fresh, and especially if youre prone to getting tooth infections.

I was using it then I stopped when my teeth got brighter so I just maintained that with crest whitening stripes, mouth wash and crest ultra whitening toothpaste

Please don’t use it for mouth wash or for whitening teeth. I used it at night before bedtime and it damaged my esophagus and now my voice has changed to a rough tone. If you do use it in the mouth rinse it out many times. It works great for small cuts in the mouth but don’t use it for prolonged periods. I wouldn’t use for teeth whitening at all.
