Why is the first comment always a complaint about the Production of the video now? Haha. It is Danny crying out for help?

Couple of typos: if the site is called Ebla, it should not be spelled Elba. And the text on screen called them Hitties, rather than Hittites. Although my own autocorrect is convinced I mean Hotties, so you have my sympathy...

I'm simple, I see Simon beard, I click. The beard has wisdom that I must assimilate.

I went to Calakmul and Tikal on 2005. I still remember standing on top of those pyramids and not seeing anything else but forest/jungle in the horizon. Truly an amazing experience.

The very 1st thing that was discovered at the Akrotiri site was the ancient formula for multiple YouTube channels about different topics. Once lost to humankind forever, Simon was able to interpret & implement this & will continue to do so until there is nobody & nothing else on YouTube except him. Clearly Simon must be stopped.

In my lifetime Troy went from an apocryphal location to an archeologically verified city in present day Turkey that was besieged and burnt right on schedule. And, for the first time in over a thousand years, not repopulated. The Homeric legends might be full of fiction but the city ruins were very real to the ancient and classic Greeks colonizing Asia Minor and the Black Sea. Also a Mycenaen palace found in Thessaly is a strong match for Iolcus from whence the Argo sailed.

I did a double take on Ebla, at first thinking Elba.

5:16 Surprisingly, this time the graphic was wrong and Simon was right. It is Ebla. Elba is the island where Napoleon was exiled.

Great job as always, Simon! I love your ancient city episodes almost as much as brain blaze and casual criminality! 😅

I just want to ask how that tree is growing ON the steps of structure 2, not through the steps but on top of them with no soil.

The section for the Ebla discovery has a typo and states Elba. So when it started I was thinking of the island and it took be a moment to figure out what was going on ;-)

ok, but it's called Tikal, not Tikalas.
